My dogs think these are treats! I have an older dog and another one that might develop hip problems later on. But both are very agile and I’m sure these “treats” have something to do with that!

Love this stuff!! Works better and less expensive than the others my dog has tried. And you don’t have to wait for 3 weeks to see results!

Unfortunately, I did not notice any improvement at all after I gave this product to my arthritic dog. I tried it for several months and found that it did not offer any benefit. In fact, she seemed to improve when I took her off of this product. I’m very disappointed and would not recommend this to anyone.
I wonder of many of the positive reviews are written by the company…

Doggone Pain, or DGP, is a supplement for pets which helps with arthritis and other types of pain. I hide the meds in Pill Pockets and other treats, and so far, my 13 year-old Sheltie and 10 year-old Husky mix seem to be doing quite well with this supplement, and they are prancing around like six or seven year-olds. This may be best taken with other supplements and medications, such as glucosamine-chondroiton and Metacam, but it certainly seems to work for the beginning stages of arthritis.

Two vets have felt a crinkle in my 4 year old dog’s joint. X-rays show no arthritis. My holistic vet said to try Dog Gone Pain. My 72 pound boy has been on it for two months. I have seen improvements. He’s licking the joint less and less antsy. He’s more eager to do things. When I went on a long stressful trip, I noticed he did start to lick his joint again, but once back home a few days, then he was back to normal. Before using Dog Gone Pain, he licked his joint on a regular basis during average activity.
I don’t believe this product to be a miracle drug, but I do believe it does help him. He shows less issues, but like any other herbal supplement, they give more of a moderate affect. Of course my boy did better on Rimadryl, but I’m not going to put his liver through a long term usage of that drug. There is one other supplement I will try, but for now I will keep him on Dog Gone Pain. I don’t beleive this supplement can work for very severe joint issues or certain kinds. Kind of like asprin works for some folks, but not for others. That’s how I would put this supplement as more like asprin, not a high potent drug like the designer papin killers.
