IMO, the *original* Percogesic product with (active) ingredients of Acetaminophen and Phenyltoloxamine Citrate is the best over the counter(OTC) pain reliever made in the USA.
I have chronic pain and after many different doctors, tests and way too many drugs a physician recommended this as an alternative. It has been the only OTC pain reliever I can depend upon to provide substantial relief for over twenty(20) years. I am quite certain that I would be a hard core drug addict if it was not for this product. (yes, the pain is that debilitating)
This product does not make me sleepy, stupid or feel drugged. It simply reduces or stops pain. I usually only have to take one tablet to have the pain subside enough to continue functioning in a (relatively) normal manner. Sometimes two tablets and repeat dosages are required but that is, now, quite rare. I ONLY use this product when the pain is unbearable. I do not use it for relatively minor aches and pains. Minor aches and pains are just to be tolerated – it is part of being human. …
For me, with my body chemistry, it is magic …
I hope it works as well for you but I must CMA and state that every person’s body chemistry is different. I highly recommend that one consult a physician to ascertain if the Acetaminophen and Phenyltoloxamine Citrate combination can have any side effects for your body. There are no side effects for me but that is MY body chemistry so please be sure you can safely take analgesic and antihistamine before trying it.

I started taking Percogesic when you could get locally. Now that Walmart doesn’t carry it and Walgreens is to expensive, I’ve started ordering it on line. I don’t like running out of it. Its wonderful for those aches and pains nothing else seems to relieve

Several years ago I was suffering with an inflamed abcessed tooth. The oral surgeon suggested Percogesic to help with the pain until the inflamation went down where he could pull the tooth. This worked so well I keep it on hand all the time. I don’t know why it works over all the other OTC pain relievers but it does. It’s also good for back aches, but for toothache it’s a winner.

I ordered Percogesic through Amazon. I can’t seem to find it locally as they have quit carrying it in Walmart. Even so, it is cheaper to order it online and pay shipping than buying it at pharmacy/store.
I use Percogesic when my legs are ‘achy’ at night and it seems to relief the ache.
